I first became interested in music at the age of ten when I started skateboarding. Skateboarding influenced everything, from the people I hung aroung with, the music I listened to, and it totally inspired me to change my life around. Skateboarding opened my appreciation to the diversity of music. I took notice of what people listened to and how it made them feel. Music is multi-cultural and limitless in it's capability to attract a diverse fanbase. I enjoy all music including rap, hip-hop, rock, punk and old school. It was during my middle school years when I traded in football and basketball for playing guitar. My brother Gilbert (lead guitarist) had bought a guitar and I decided to teach myself how to play. It was later that year when our new neighbors started playing in a band - and that's when I fell in love with the drums. I was fifteen when I got my first drum set and since then, I set out to accomplish my goal, to do what I love and play at my best.
